Tyler Meeks is a designer and craftsman based in Berkeley, CA. After graduating with a master’s degree in architecture from UC Berkeley, he turned toward making — training as a carpenter and developing a practice built around the idea that good design and skilled fabrication are inseparable. That's still the core of how Kanna works: every project is designed and built with the same hands and the same eye.

We work with homeowners doing significant remodels, and with architects and interior designers who need a fabrication partner who can think alongside them. We handle shop drawings in-house, coordinate subcontractors when needed, and stay on the project through installation.

Our shop is in Berkeley. Most of our work is in the East Bay, with projects across the Bay Area and beyond.
